Race Night spectacular

Jason Greenwood

A heartwarming Race Night held at the Eston Events Centre proved to be a resounding success, raising an impressive £618.45 for our little swim club.

Organised with the help of friends, family, and local supporters, the evening brought together swimmers and families for a night of music, fun, and fundraising. The event, made possible by the efforts of many dedicated individuals, demonstrated the power of community spirit and collaboration.

A special thank you goes to Lynn Heard, Cheryl Heard, Michael Heard, Rebecca Shea, Craig Colebrook, Emma Horner, and Jason for their generous raffle donations. Their contributions played a key role in the evening’s success.

Gratitude was also extended to Carol, Paige, and Cheryl for their help in setting up the venue, and to Carol once again for providing the ever-popular sweet cones. The biggest thanks go to Sarah, who booked the venue, arranged the pie and peas, the race night, and sold the tickets, among other things.

A heartfelt thanks go to Lorraine Kitson and Stacey Briggs, as well as the Eston Events Centre team and SB Sounds, whose support ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

“This evening wouldn’t have been a success without every single one of you,” the organiser said. “Thank you all for making it such a memorable night.”

With £618.45 raised, the event not only provided an enjoyable night for all but also raised vital funds for the swim club.
