Double Success for Eston ASC as George and Joe Selected for County Talent Camps
Eston ASC are celebrating a fantastic achievement this week as two of their rising stars, George and Joe, have both been selected for the 2025/26 Northumberland & Durham Swimming Association County Talent Camps.
This selection marks an exciting step forward in their swimming journeys and is a recognition of the boys’ talent, determination, and passion for the sport. To be chosen at county level is no small accomplishment, and it reflects the countless hours of hard work and dedication both George and Joe have shown in training and competition.
A Valuable Opportunity
The County Talent Camps are designed to help swimmers reach their full potential, offering an environment where they can continue to grow and refine their skills. Over the course of the programme, George and Joe will have the chance to:
- Develop fundamental movement and aquatic skills that are vital to long-term success.
- Enhance their technical ability across all four competitive strokes.
- Gain a deeper understanding of Swim England’s culture and pathways into future talent programmes.
- Build the characteristics outlined in the Optimal Athlete Development Framework (OADF) for swimmers at their age and stage of development.
- Work with a variety of highly experienced coaches from across the Northumberland & Durham area, broadening their knowledge and training experience.
This experience will not only support their physical and technical development but will also give them an opportunity to meet and train alongside some of the most promising young swimmers in the county.
A Proud Moment for the Club
Everyone at Eston ASC is immensely proud of George and Joe’s success. Their achievements are a reflection of their positive attitude, determination to learn, and the strong team spirit they bring to training sessions and competitions alike.

“George and Joe thoroughly deserve this recognition. Their commitment and enthusiasm are second to none, and we are excited to see them take on this opportunity and continue to thrive in their swimming careers.”
