Eston Swimming Club has been officially recognised as one of the leading clubs in the region after being nominated for Swimming Club of the Year in the Swim England North East Regional Awards 2025.

Although the club did not take home this year’s top title, the nomination itself is regarded as a significant achievement, highlighting the impact Eston Swimming Club is making within the aquatic community.

In a letter of recognition, Swim England North East praised the club’s “commitment and hard work,” acknowledging how their contribution has been noticed and valued across the region. The nomination celebrates the positive difference Eston Swimming Club continues to make by inspiring, supporting, and growing the sport.

A spokesperson for Swim England North East said: “Being nominated is a significant achievement and reflects the real difference your club is making within our aquatic community. We are proud to celebrate the club's contribution through this nomination.”

The recognition serves as a testament to the dedication of the coaches, volunteers, swimmers, and families who play an integral role in the club’s success.

Swim England North East also expressed their hope to see Eston Swimming Club put forward for future awards, further underlining the esteem in which the club is held.

Chair of the club Rachel said "On behalf of Eston ASC we would like to say well done to everyone, we really appreciate your hard work and support for the Swim England recognition."
